A few weekends ago I drove about an hour north to experience a hermitage prayer retreat. It was something that several people talked to me about…one of those people being the Lord so I thought I’d better give it a try.
I’ve never done anything like this before and to be honest I was [...]
If you’re a regular visitor of this blog (i.e. my mom & wife) then you’ll notice that there was no entry last week. Somewhat inappropriate I must say, considering this is supposed to be a weekly blog!

I don’t know if I would have initiated seeing this movie; not because it was too painful or of no interest to me, I guess it just never really crossed my mind. Perhaps I am too dependant on being entertained and I knew this was not going to be the feel good comedy of the year…
There’s a common expression in the Christian world, “you’ve got to separate the do from the whoâ€?. In other words, your actions do not determine your identity. I often wonder how we came to this conclusion? The more I think about it the more confused I get…

They gave testimonial after testimonial of lives they’ve impacted. Person after person who has found a salvation that comes only through Jesus the Christ…
Well, after spending several hours updating and reformatting the site (thank you so much Tim Griffin for all your help) I guess I better start actually writing!
There have been a lot of changes in my life lately. Actually, not just lately…it seems as though I’ve been in transition for several years now but the most recent and drastic change is the birth of my son: Jakob…
