One of the fun parts of visiting with my mom is getting to sew! Being the daughter of a “sewing” mom, I learned to use her machine before I can remember. She brought me a few new projects (along with some super cute stuff she made; a new quilt for Jakob’s bed full of trucks, planes, and other boy-ish fun, a new “market-tote” from Liz’s newest pattern, and a birthday pillow case for us!) from her store. She even helped me get started on them. One project we worked on was a Fall wall hanging. It’s a super cute pumpkin stack, totally my style.
Jason pulled out the Handy Husband hat and installed a new rod in our entry way for me to display my creation! It’s right at eye level when you’re on the main floor of our house. I’m excited to make some other creations to hang throughout the year also! It’s so fun to continue to make a home and decorate it together!

It looks fantastic Beka! It was so much fun to sew with you. Hope to do it again soon. Love, Mom
