Babi Yar
- We recently went on a field trip with the students and staff of the School of Jewish Studies to this nearby park named Babi Yar. Actually, it’s much more than a park. Babi Yar is a memorial site that speaks of great bloodshed as many Jews viciously lost their life amongst its fields. The day we visited also happened to be the Jewish festival of Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement) and we were joining a local Messianic congregation to celebrate. We were not only reminded of the atrocities of the war but it was also an opportunity to honor the nations that God sent to liberate His people once more.
